Did you know that the Oklahoma House and Senate both passed bills ending a ban on slaughtering horses last week? Both bills would legalize the practice and make way for slaughter houses, and the Senate version would even make it okay to sell the meat. This is garbage! Apparently only one House member even debated against the bill. I guess when people can’t afford their horses anymore, they just shoot the things.

By the way, horse slaughtering has been illegal in the State of Oklahoma since 1963, by which time apparently 19th century cowboys became a minority.
